Samyang has launched the primary third-party autofocus lens for Canon RF mount, the Samyang AF 14mm F2.Eight RF. The brand new mannequin joins the corporate’s related AF 14mm F2.8 lens for Canon EF, that includes a 113.9-degree vast angle of view (89.8-degree APS-C) due to 14 components in 10 teams, together with one high-reflective factor, two extra-low dispersion components and three aspherical components.

Samyang says it ‘optimized’ the brand new AF 14mm F2.Eight RF lens design in order that it’s compact sufficient to be used with mirrorless cameras. The mannequin measures 95.3mm (3.7in) in size and weighs 484g (1lbs). The lens is weather-sealed and features a rear filter holder, AF-MF change, and an optical design meant to ‘regulate the sunshine circulation and cut back the aberration.’
